Honestly speaking . . . I feel nothing for the death of MJ. And I might be with a small minority that is thinking "good riddance". Just what I think. I was a fan growing up, but his later years, when he started morphing from a genuine entertainer to some sort of a weird side-show freak, and his weird proclivities, completely turned me off.

It's my opinion that we as American entertainment consumers are responsible for MJ's freakish transformation. If you've ever tried to do a moonwalk, watched MTV or a Super Bowl halftime show, listened to Weird Al, or even set foot in a record store, you're part of the machine that created the demand for MJ. Not just that he perform, but that his personal life be completely sensational, too.

I see him as a tragic figure, and I feel completely responsible as part of that machine. Hero worship and celebrity obsession always lead to this kind of shit. We love to watch them rise, but we love even more to be there when they fall.

Next time, try spelling correctly and making a coherent point, and I won't delete your comment.
