If you haven't been keeping up, you might not even know about the last three Futurama movies. Starting with Bender's Big Score, then The Beast With A Billion Backs, and the most recent installment: Bender's Game. There's a lot of discussion among the fans as to which is the best movie. In my personal opinion (having watched every Futurama episode a gazillion times), the films have only gotten better. If this trend continues, Into The Wild Green Yonder is poised to be the hottest Futurama movie yet. Just finished watching "Bender's Game" last night. Anxiously looking forward to "Into the Wild Green Yonder" as I hear it's the last planned Futurama movie for now.
Yeah dude, I'm almost distraught that there's not more Futurama in the works. Hopefully we'll see more soon.
All these movies prove that Futurama was cut down way before their prime. Groening and the writers still had tons to offer, and Fox booted them in favor of more American Idol re-runs. Makes me want to treat myself with some Torgo's Executive Powder.
It seriously pisses me off knowing that Futurama is relegated to straight to DVD movies when they keep making episodes of Family Guy and American Dad. WTF!
