There's a HUGE difference between good vodka, and shitty vodka. So much that bad vodka smells and tastes like rubbing acohol and burns like it too. Good vodka on the other hand, is delicate, smooth, and fragrant. But who can afford Belvedere or Grey Goose? We can't help you there, but we can help you magically transform your crappy vodka into good vodka.
1. Get a bottle of cheap vodka. We recommend plastic handles of Gilbey's.
2. Get yourself a Brita water filter.
3. Pour that shitty vodka through the filter, and again, and again. The more times you do it, the more filtered the vodka will get, and the better it will taste.
Just don't try to use that filter for water ever again. This is also a handy gift idea. You can fill an empty bottle of good vodka with your filtered vodka, and people won't be able to tell the difference. Especially if you use an old Grey Goose bottle, no one will notice since Grey Goose already tastes like crap to begin with.

lol! Question is... what will happen if you filter your good vodka over and over? Will it turns automatically into Tsar gold?
You guys should start their own Vodka Co. filtering cheap vodka, relabeling it and sell it bakc a double price.
here here...
Interesting.
I've never understood drinking vodka straight...but then again I've never tried "the good stuff" either. Or maybe I have, I just really don't like vodka straight.
Thanks for the suggestion, and my weekend bartending experiment :)
I Make great Vodka $2.00 Canadian per litre
Try some Zubrowka, it's good and relatively cheap Polish vodka. You can tell it apart because it has a piece of grass blade in the bottle. Trust me, if there's anything being Polish has taught me about it's good vodka. Good luck finding it since a lot of liquor stores don't carry it, especially if you live in the land of state-regulated and owned stores.
That's one of the only things being Polish has taught me, what good vodka is. I've never tried that one though, i'll have to make a point of it.
LMAO MAN!
I think nosympathy is onto something...
Librian too, do you ship it to the states?
